The Services We Provide

Comprehensive Personal and Business Solutions

Initial Consult Appointments

Initial Meetings

Learn how you can provide for your family through your estate plan. We will get to know you and your goals, and show you how different estate planning tools, will affect your estate and your beneficiaries. Our goal in this meeting is to give you an understanding of your options so you can choose the best course for you and your family.

Estate Plan Reviews

Estate planning is not a one-time event. Overtime, your personal situation will change, your family will change, and laws will change - that means your plan will need to change to meet your goals. Contact us for an estate plan review, even if we did not prepare the plan. We will discuss your goals and review your plan, including legal documentsbeneficiary designations, and property titles. By the end of the meeting you will understand how your current plan works, and what may be done to realign your plan with your objectives.

Estate Planning Services

Revocable Living Trusts

A revocable living trust allows you to control your assets while you are alive, designate people to handle your affairs if you become incapacitated, avoid probate and keep things private if you pass away, and provide asset protection for your loved ones.

Wills

A will allows you to make your wishes known to your loved ones. You can choose a person to settle your estate on your behalf. Parents with minor children can name a guardian for their children. You can decide who will receive your assets. However, passing property through a will generally requires probate court supervision.

Special Needs Trusts

Special Needs Trusts can be used to enhance the lives of people with disabilities without affecting the government benefits they receive. Through special needs planning, you can provide for your loved ones with disabilities when you are longer able to advocate on their behalf.

Medicaid Asset Protection Trusts

This type of irrevocable trust allows people to retain their life savings and protect their legacy for their loved ones in the event of a long-term stay in a nursing home.

Powers of Attorney

Health care powers of attorney empower your loved ones to advocate on your behalf and make health care decisions for you. Financial powers of attorney allow you to name people you trust to handle your finances, including paying your bills, managing your property, and corresponding with your financial advisor. Without powers of attorney, your family would need to go through a court proceeding to appoint a guardian in your behalf.

Probate & Trust Administration

We can help you through the process of taking care of a loved one's estate. If the person who passed had no estate plan, or had a will, the estate may go through probate court. For those with a trust, the estate administration is done privately, outside of probate court.

Business Services

LLC and Corporation Formation and Maintenance

If you are starting a new business or formalizing a current one, it is important to separate your personal affairs from your business. With a properly formed and maintained LLC, Corporation, or other limited liability entity, you are not personally responsible for liabilities of your business. LLCs not only provide this invaluable protection, but they allow you flexibility to designate the ownership and management of your business.

In-House Counsel Services

We provide small businesses owners with in-house counsel services on as-needed basis. Contact us for assistance with:

  • Reviewing and drafting business contracts and customer agreements
  • Creating and updating legal forms for company use
  • Instructing outside legal counsel on specialized projects
  • Employment and HR legal support
  • Drafting, reviewing, updating company policies
  • Board of Directors minutes and resolutions
